Camera Types and Uses

  • Bullet Type Cameras are designed for capturing images in a fixed area. 
  • Dome Cameras, names after the shape of their hosing are designed for in-store installations. It works in two ways as it is unobtrusive but visible, thus warning people that the area is protected by a CCTV network and gives comfort to its clients. 
  • PTZ Cameras (pan-tilt-zoom) are cameras that can be remotely controlled. These cameras use pan, tilt and zoom to provide both wide area coverage and great detail with a single camera.
  • High Definition Cameras are often used in high risk establishments. With its high resolution lens, capturing images are possible, giving viewers a finer detail on recorded images.
